YP Lecture July 2017- Sherlock Holmes to CSI: how geologists help to solve crimes
The YPs would like to invite you to join us for the July monthly lecture. We are taking over for one month only to find out how we can use geology to fight crime!
Professor Lorna Dawson, Head of Forensic Soil Science at the James Hutton Institute will be taking us on a geological murder mystery to show us how trace materials in soil can provide valuable evidence in crime investigations and scenario reconstructions. All members are welcome from 6pm on 11th July at the Geological Society (Burlington House) or at the Jurys Inn in Aberdeen, 15th of August
